Some of you have asked about loading pictures onto the blog.
If you just want to post ONE picture, this is VERY EASY. When you are making a "NEW POST" on the blog, there is a tool bar at the top of the window (where you enter the text for your post). Just click on the little picture icon (looks like a landscape and is the last icon in the toolbar). This will walk you through the steps for posting your picture. Again, this is VERY EASY!
If you want to post a link to an entire photo album (like I did for the baptism pictures), this is also quite easy. Click on the "COMMENTS" link below to see "10 Easy Steps For Posting a Photo Album".
Let me know if you have any questions. Please note that in order to post pictures, you will need to have the pictures stored on your computer (I'm assuming that you all have a digital camera and are able to upload the pictures to your computer).

Here are the 10 Easy Steps for Posting a Photo Album...
1) Go to this web page:
http://photos.yahoo.com/brownfamilyacademy
2) At the top of the page, click on “SIGN IN”.
(If you are already signed into a Yahoo! account, click on “SIGN OUT” and follow the
steps to sign back in as a new user)
3) On the Yahoo! sign in page use the following user name and password:
User name: brownfamilyacademy
Password: marion
4) Click on “+ UPLOAD PHOTOS” on the left hand side of the page
5) Where it says “STEP 1” click on the pull down menu to “NEW ALBUM” and then
enter the name of the album (like “Packer’s Baptism” or “Trey’s Trip to China”); then
click “CONTINUE”
6) Where it says “STEP 2” click on the button “SELECT PHOTOS”. In the dialog box,
browse for the pictures you want to upload from your computer hard drive. Repeat this
step for each picture you want to upload.
OR
Open the folder where your pictures are stored in a different window. Click and drag
the pictures into the Yahoo! Photo window where it says “Drag and drop photos
here…” You can drag in as many pictures as you want at the SAME TIME.
7) Click “START UPLOAD” (it may take a while if you have loaded a lot of pictures)
8) Click “CONTINUE”
9) This window allows you to edit pictures names and/or descriptions – this is optional. Click “SAVE” when you have finished making your desired edits.
10) On the left hand side of this screen, click on the album name you just created. Then click on the “SHARE” button in the center of the screen and scroll down to “PERMISSIONS” under the word "ALBUM". Change the sharing options to "PUBLIC".
That's it! Now you just need to post a message on the Brown Family Blog that a new photo album has been posted and that everyone can access the photos by clicking here:
