FHE

Wow Mark!
Thanks for going to a HUGE effort on the FHE poll. It was so fun! I certainly thought that Mom would be the one with the most correct answers. (Maybe her memory has dimmed just a bit!) ha ha!
Anyway, it was really fun. The Fiddler on the Roof thing really threw me. What was the deal with that Mark?
How was everybody's anniversary? For our 25th, Lon and I spent the day at the University of Utah Hospital meeting with doctors and having tests done. Yeah! We did go eat at Market Street Grill afterwards.
Suzi, I'm sorry to hear about Harley. Had she been sick or was it old age?
We love you all!

The Fiddler on the Roof thing sounds cooler then it actually was. It was my senior year at BYU and I was very involved with BYUSA. At the start of each of school year BYU would present the "Traditions Showcase" as part of freshman orientation. It was like a mini homecoming spectaculer with the Young Ambasadors and different performing groups. The purpose of the event was to talk about the traditions and culture of BYU for new entering students. It was held in the Marriot Center because it is a very large audience. The set for the show is the back drop of Fiddler on the Roof. The very first scene of the show was me litterally on the roof of the backdrop playing the fiddle. Of course, I'm not really playing -- it is all set to a sound track. But I stay up there throughout the show because the MC who is dressed as Tevye refers to the "Fiddler on the Roof" many times. So that is the closest I've come to show biz!

Anniversary was great! Definately more fun that yours...sorry Sheryl. We went to the strip and stay a night at the Wynn. It was great! Then next month we are going to Cabo with 5 other couples to celebrate a few of our anniversaries that fall in the spring. Should be fun
No Harley was not old. only 5 years old. We came home from Youth Confernce on Sat and it appeared that she had had a stroke or seizure. She spent 2 day at the hospital and still had no movement on her left side. We put her down on Monday which was a very hard decision.
