Could another clue be that he shares a name with a Book of Mormon prophet?
According to my Google search, the Honolulu mayor and this guy come from a family with strong family ties and a rich history in Somoa.
Are they LDS?
Mark, You are absolutely right and why didn't I think to give you the B of M prophet clue. The guy with his arm around my wife is Nephi Hannemann and he was the co-star with Jack Lord in Hawaii Five O that was a very popular TV series for 11 - 12 years before some of you were born.

Thank you Shannon. And Mark you are amazing to find Nephi on Google. He is the Brother of Mayor Hannemann (Mayor of Honolulu). These brothers are both popular singers. They sang for us and it was great. The Mayor said he was giving me his DVD, but it didn't happen. Many of the Sisters in the office remembered Nephi from his TV show and wanted me to get pictures of him for them. Nephi was excited to do so. Love, Grandma
