Holland Loves America

Holland had his kindergarten program today. The program was all about America. They sang songs like "Yankee Doodle" and "God Bless the USA." They sang songs that named all 7 continents, all 50 states and all 29 counties in Utah. I certainly couldn't name all of Utah's counties. Holland did a great job singing and dancing about the land that he loves!

Holland,

You're the best looking guy in the class and I'll bet you're also the best singer. You have become a real patriot. You probably know exactly what that word means, but if not, your Mom and Dad will tell you.

I'm proud of you for protecting your new "princess" even before she is born. You will love having a little sister.

Holland: I am so amazed that you already know all 50 States, all the continents and Utah counties. I don't think I can name all those. I wish I could hear you name them and hear your song. You are learning so much. You will be able to teach Baby Princess Brown lots of things. She will love that. You are a smart and handsome dude. Love, Grandma

Holland,

Your costume is great. I wish I knew all the states and stuff like you - you will be so glad to have learned that as you get older! Are those your teachers in the picture with you? They look very nice! We love you!
