We got a sneak peek of summer this last weekend in Draper. Just a week earlier we had on winter coats and even got snow.
Unfortunately, the 80-degree weather is only expected to last 3 or 4 days, then the weather is supposed to turn cool again.
But we wasted no time at the Brown household. The hot sun came out and the next thing we knew, the kids had their swimsuits on and had invited the neighborhood to join them in the hot tub.
We had hoped to go out on the boat during the warm weather. The boat came out of storage last week but was being "summerized" all weekend long. We're sad because it may be a while before we can get out on the boat. With the weather turning cooler this weekend and the baby coming next weekend, it may be June before we're able to get out.
We're all excited for summer to really be here!

Packer, Holland, and Cannon: We can see you playing in your hot tub. It is filled with all your friends having a great time. Wow! Wish we were there too. Did your Mom and Dad get in too? I know your Mom has to be very careful with the baby now. We can't wait to hear the news about your new baby princess. We love you!

Who needs a neighborhood pool?!?! Looks like fun! We just got a spool but I am sure it will never see that many boys at once! It is so great that you have the spa for the boys to have friends over and be right at home. We love it when stuff is here! Great memories! Now how will a girl fit into the mix?!?! She will be the luckiest girl on the block with all those boys for sure!
Packer, Holland, and Cannon:
You guys are having too much fun so early in the summer! Ask you dad about his early spring water skiing in Minnesota - the day after "ice out."
If you were here in Takapuna, New Zealand, you could swim in the ocean almost all year.
Sadly we live on the other side of the tracks and didn't hear about the party fun! Would love to have joined you! We loved the dive-in movies at your house!
