Jason's going to Brazil

It was so fun to all be on the conference call today when Jason opened his mission call! We had people on the phone from 4 different states and 2 different continents.

Thanks for including all of us Jason! If anyone has any interesting tidbits to share about Jason's mission call, click on "comments" below and comment away!

Jason,

Congratulations on your call tyo serve in Gioani, Brazil. You will be awesome!

We were impressed that you organized a massive conference call so the whole family could join in for the exciting news.

You will love Brazil, but it really doesn't matter where you serve, but how you serve. You love the gospel and you'll come to love the Brazilians and their country.

We're very proud of you and we're delighted with your call.

PS: If you can translate what Shannon said, you can probably skip part of the MTC time in Sao Paulo.

Thanks so much for including us in your conference call. It meant a lot to Terry and I to both hear you read your letter. I wish Crew could have been there too! You have been a great example to him as you have lived your life worthy to serve the Lord. Thanks! We know you will do a great job . The people of Brazil are lucky to have you! Let us know when you are having your farewell. We want to be there. We do have a cruise scheduled around the end of July so let us know.

Jason,

According to President James E. Faust who served his mission in Brazil, "people all over the world pray to the Lord in their native tongue, but the Lord always answers them in Porteguese!"

You will be an AWESOME missionary!

ELDER JASON WARDROP: Wow! We are so excited about your call to Brasil(as they spell it there). You will love it. We have not been to the very place you are going, but we have seen some beautiful areas.
I hope you fly Trey and Jordan out to start your language training. Or you could go there. BUT....
With your great brain, you will have no trouble learning that language. It is similar to Spanish. (As if I knew either one.)
We are so very proud (humbly) of your great example to all your friends and cousins. You have set that example all your life. It will be exciting to see ALL our grandsons (and some grandaughters) follow in your footsteps. We will have a strong line of Elders and Sisters from the (Brown) family for many years to come. We will truly be the Army of Helaman and our sons and daughters will be the strongest. Nothing will stop us from leading the way as we testify in many countires of the world. Even Idaho) We even have some senior missionaries who are doing the same thing.
We feel so blessed to have such strong examples of righteous in our wonderful greadchildren. You are THE BEST. We will all be blessed from your service.
Love, Grandma
